Kenneth Edward "Kenny" Holeman, age 54, of Gary, Texas, passed away on Thursday morning, January 1, 2026, in a Longview, Texas hospital. He was born on December 4, 1971, in Indianola, Mississippi, to Morgan Lee Holeman, Sr. and Fronie Mae Roberson Holeman.
Kenny was raised in Indianola, where he attended Indianola schools and built lifelong friendships. On June 13, 1992, he married Andrea Michelle McCool in Indianola, and together they shared 33 devoted years of marriage. Kenny spent many years working as a supervisor with RCL Construction in Carthage, where he was known for his strong work ethic and leadership.
An avid outdoorsman, Kenny especially enjoyed deer and dove hunting. He loved grilling and treasured time spent with his family. A passionate Rebel fan, he rarely missed the chance to watch anything related to Ole Miss Athletics. In 2007, Kenny made Gary, Texas his home and was a faithful member of Bethel Baptist Church in Clayton, Texas.
He was preceded in death by his father, Morgan Lee Holeman, Sr., and a nephew, Morgan Lee Holeman, III.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Fronie Holeman; his devoted wife, Michelle Holeman; his children, Paige Holeman, Josh Holeman and wife Haylee, and Megan Holeman; his grandchildren, Zoie and Ivie Holeman; his siblings, Lee Holeman and wife Mia, and Tammy Taylor; his niece, April Kirksey; his nephews, Chris Holeman and wife Mallory, and Blake Holeman and wife Alex; his beloved dog, Molly; and a host of cousins, extended family members, and dear friends.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Bethel Baptist Church in Clayton, with Bro. Jerry Phillips officiating, under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Clayton Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:00 to 2:00 p.m. on Monday at the church prior to the service.
Pallbearers are Ely Sanders, Gunner McDaniel, Dalton Goode, Joseph Hendricks, Austin Deas, and Justin Wright. Honorary pallbearers are Brian McDaniel and Timothy Roberson.
