A graveside service with military honors for Paul Matthews of Longview, TX will be 2 p.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, 2019, at Tatum Cemetery with Dr. Tim Watson officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 12-1 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home prior to the graveside service.

Paul was born on Feb. 18, 1934, to parents, O.W. and Willard Matthews of Tatum. He worked and retired from Eastman Kodak in Longview, TX. Paul was a Korean Veteran and a long-time member of the First Baptist Church of Longview. He was 84 years old and passed away on Saturday morning, Jan. 26, 2019, in Longview.

Paul is survived by his loving wife, Ouida Matthews and loving daughter, Paula Matthews both of Longview; brothers, Richard Matthews of Tatum and Joe Matthews of Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by a brother, Gus Matthews.
