William Harold "Chip" Lovell, age 43, of Marshall, Texas, passed away on Saturday evening, August 1, 2026, in Marshall.
Chip was born on March 13, 1983, in Lawton, Oklahoma. He graduated from Joaquin High School with the Class of 2001, where he proudly lettered in football. Chip enjoyed spending time outdoors fishing, working with his hands and fixing just about anything, playing and watching football, and relaxing with his favorite television shows. Above all, he cherished the time he spent with his grandchildren, who brought him tremendous joy.
Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Stephanie and Timothy Mills; his spouse, Tiffany Burr; his children, Samantha Burr (Brandon Morris), Camryn Lovell (Brayden Stewart), Caden Lovell, Hunter Burr, Caitlyn Burr, Braxton Mikesh, and Damien White; seven beloved grandchildren; his siblings, Brandon Lovell and wife, Shauni, Amanda Marcum and husband, Justin, Taylor Mills and wife, Sarah, and Devon Webb and husband, Jason; as well as numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many dear friends.
A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 11, 2026, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Michael Tibbs and James Lovell officiating. Interment will follow in De Berry Cemetery.
The family will receive friends during a visitation from 5:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday evening at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bradly Webb, John Weir, Kevin Benefield, Cole Parker, Stephen Morris, Stoney Runnels, and Bubba Bowden. Honorary pallbearers are Bubba Blackwell, Isaiah Lovell, and Jason Webb III.
