Graveside services for Mr. William "Bill" Havens, age 79 years, of Tatum, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2006 at Tatum Cemetery with Brother Dale Reed officiating. Interment will follow the services under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home. Mr. Havens passed away on Sunday, May 7, 2006 in Henderson, Texas.
William "Bill" Havens was born on January 20, 1927 in New York, New York. He worked in construction for many years and had lived in Tatum most of his life. Mr. Havens was a veteran of the United States Army serving his country during World War II. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Mr. Havens is survived by one daughter, Patsy Havens of Mineola, Texas; three grandchildren, Christopher Orndorff, Billy Orndorff, and Danielle Orndorff; three great-grandchildren, Elena Orndorff, Elisa Orndorff, and Abraham Orndorff.
