William C. Davidson, born May 8, 1931 passed from this world Oct. 3, 2013. He was preceded in death by his parents; Claude Davidson, Ella Davidson, and R. D. Briggs. Also preceding him was a sister Joyce Marler and a grandchild Amy Davidson. He is survived by his spouse Opal Davidson, 6 children; George Hammond, John Hammond, Sandra Lewis, Tim Davidson, Mark Hammond, and Tina Barber. Also surviving him are 22 grandchildren, and 23 great-grandchildren. The family will receive friends on Sunday, October 6, 2013, from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at Grand View Funeral Home. Services will be held on Monday, October 7, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Grand View Funeral Home. Graveside services will follow at 4:00 p.m. at Rock Hill Cemetery in Carthage, TX.
