Bubba Metcalf, age 60, of Beckville, Texas, passed Saturday morning, February 15, 2025, in Marshall, Texas. Bill Wiley "Bubba" Metcalf was born on December 22, 1964 in Carthage, Texas to the late Johnny Rabon and Lorene Sheffield Metcalf. He graduated from Beckville High School with the class of 1983. Bubba worked as a ground's keeper at Tyson Foods. He was an avid reader, enjoyed working on jigsaw puzzles, loved traveling, spending time with his friends, and especially keeping up and spending time with his family. Bubba was a member of New Prospect Church in Beckville.

He is survived by his brothers, Johnny Eugene Metcalf and James Wesley "Wes" Metcalf; aunt, Emma Blakeman; and uncles, Bill Henry Metcalf and wife Thelma, and Jewel Metcalf and wife Linda.

The family will have a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. on March 1, 2025, at New Prospect Church with Bro. Bob Scott officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorial may be made to Gideons International, P.O. Box 393, Carthage, Texas 75633.

Cremation arrangements are entrusted to Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
