Wesley James Gleason, age 50, of Carthage, Texas passed away on Saturday, May 3, 2025, at UT- Health hospital in Tyler. He was born on March 8, 1975, in Columbus, Georgia, to George Joe and Barbara Ann Gleason.

Wesley graduated high school with the Class of 1994. He went on to work as a heavy equipment operator in a rock yard.  He loved to hunt, fish, ride motorcycles and travel on them, and he enjoyed building things.  He worked as a concrete finisher for 20+ years.

He is survived by his parents, George Joe and Barbara Ann Gleason; wife, Crystal Lynn Peterson Gleason; two sons, Dakota Shane Gleason and Christopher George Gleason; daughter, Georgia Ann Gleason; brother, Jamie Joe Gleason; four grandchildren; along with many other friends and family are left to cherish his memories.

His cremation is entrusted to Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
