Wendy Ann Richardson Gibbs, age 55, of the Logan Community in Panola County, Texas, passed away at her home on Saturday, November 8, 2025. Wendy was born on August 21, 1970, in Howell, Michigan, to the late James Ray and Nancy Marie (VanBlaricum) Richardson. She worked for several years as a beautician before later taking on secretarial work. On May 24, 2013, Wendy married Brian Layne Gibbs in Pensacola, Florida. They shared more than a decade together before his passing on July 10, 2024. Wendy had a kind and gentle spirit, and she deeply loved animals—especially her dogs and cats, who brought her great comfort and joy.

She is survived by her son, C.J. Sears; great-nephew, Blazden Lowrance; brothers, James and John Richardson; and sister, Stacy Insley.

A private burial will be held at Adams Cemetery in the Logan Community of Panola County, Texas.
