A memorial service for Mr. Wayne McDonald, age 71, of Mt. Enterprise, TX, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, June 8, 2011, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel. Mr. McDonald passed away on Monday morning, June 6, 2011, at his home in Mt. Enterprise.

Sadrick Wayne McDonald was born on April 10, 1940, in Tyler, TX to Sadrick L. and Charlene Rodgers McDonald. Mr. McDonald attended school in Tyler and San Antonio. He married Willis Henrietta Shumann on Oct. 25, 1962, in San Antonio and she preceded him in death on Jan. 20, 1999. Mr. McDonald worked as a mechanic for TXU until his retirement. He was also preceded in death by his father and one sister, Peggy Dressen.

Mr. McDonald is survived by his mother, Charlene McDonald of Bishop, TX; two daughters, Diane Dozier and husband Dan of Nashville, TN and Susan Chapman and husband Richard of Mt. Enterprise; two step-sons, Donnice Moore and wife Kathy and Rusty Moore and wife Sue all of Elmendorf, TX; one brother, James A. McDonald of Canyon Lake; two sisters, Janette Fowler of Bishop and Kathy Olsen of Elmendorf; nine grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
