A funeral service for Warren Jones, 65, of Beckville, TX, will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 9, 2015, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Matt Comer officiating. A Masonic graveside service will follow in Langley Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral home. Mr. Jones passed away on Monday morning, April 6, 2015, at his home in Beckville.

Charles Warren Jones was born on April 28, 1949, in Beckville to the late Tommy and Ida Louise Bray Jones. He graduated from Beckville High School with the class of 1967, and attended Panola College. He married Wanda Jeannette Grimes on Jan. 16, 1986, in Beckville. He was a member of the Beckville Masonic Lodge # 922. Mr. Jones worked for TX Utilities as an accountant for many years and was currently employed as the Panola County Adult Probation Community Service Coordinator. He was a member of the Still Water's Cowboy Church where he served as an elder. Warren loved gardening. He was also preceded in death by four sisters and son, Charles Eric Jones.

Mr. Jones is survived by his wife, Wanda Jones of Beckville; daughters, Kelly Jones Kroll and husband Lester of Center and Lindsey Tipton and husband Joshua of Beckville; son, Cody Scoggins and Nicole of The Woodlands; brother, Tommy Jones, Jr. of Beckville; sister, Judy Alred of Longview; and grandchildren, Adreanna and Andrew Kroll, Alyssa Foster, Brylee and Jaycee Jo Tipton, and Ryan and Jasmin Davis.

Pallbearers are Bob Cowan, David Daniels, Josh Jones, Cory Turner, Robert Wright, Jason Parrott, and Mike Sipes.
