Warren LaVelle Allred, 68, of Groesbeck, Texas, formerly of Beckville, passed away on Saturday, April 14, 2018, in Waco. He fought a good fight until the end. Mr. Allred was born on August 2, 1949, in Henderson, Texas to the late Ralph Warren and Edna Lenora Heald Allred. He was raised in the Fairplay Community and attended Beckville schools. Mr. Allred worked for Texas Westmoreland as an operator for over 30 years, retiring in 2015. Mr. Allred was a humble, kind, and hardworking man who would do anything for anybody. He loved anything to do with the outdoors including hunting, fishing, and four wheeling. He loved classic vehicles and anything that would go fast. Mr. Allred was a wonderful father who loved his boys very much. He was a member of Church on the Rock in Groesbeck and could recite most any scripture in the Bible. Mr. Allred was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Vernon Allred; and grandson, Gavin Kane Allred.

Those left to cherish his memory are his two sons, Daniel Allred and wife Michelle of Fairplay and Colt Allred of Groesbeck; grandson, Braxdan Kash Allred of Fairplay; brother, Jimmy Allred of Fairplay; sisters, Barbara Polve of Henderson and Patricia Allred of Henderson along with numerous nieces and nephews.

A visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, April 17, 2018, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 18, 2018, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with James McRight officiating. Interment will follow at Martin Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Harold Allred, Jimmy Allred, Brandon Bogle, Melvin LaGrone, Eddie Reed and Todd Seidel.
