Funeral services for Mrs. Wanda Ree Hudson, 50 of DeBerry, Texas, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, June 2, 2007 at Evergreen Baptist Church in DeBerry with Pastor Eddie Harris, Sr., Brother Carlos Harris, and Brother Von Eric McKee officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Evergreen Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Friday evening at the funeral home. Mrs. Hudson passed away on Thursday night, May 24, 2007 in Longview.
Wanda Ree Anderson Hudson was born on August 20, 1956 in Carthage, Texas to R. E. "Buddy" Anderson and Gladys Pearl Anderson. She graduated from Elysian Fields High School and had lived her lifetime in DeBerry. Mrs. Hudson was of the Church of the Living God faith.
Mrs. Hudson is survived by her husband, Curley Hudson of Shreveport; one son, Curley Hudson, Jr. of DeBerry; one daughter, Tomekia Hudson of Carthage; two brothers, Richard Earl Lewis and John Edward Anderson both of DeBerry; four sisters, Linda Kay Mitchell and husband Willie James of DeBerry, Naomi Ragland of Elysian Fields, Amy Rose McKellum of Rowlett, and Brana Gatlin and husband William of DeBerry; and five grandchildren.
Serving as pallbearers are Tyrone Sanders, Curley Hudson, Jr., Fred Porter, William Gatlin, Emitt Mclin, and Charles Boyd.
