Vivian Ann Scott, 81, of Texarkana, TX, passed away on Thursday morning, April 18, 2024, in Texarkana. Vivian Ann Gjerstad was born on Apr. 5, 1943, in Bertha, MN to the late Roy Hilary and Albina T. Drayna Gjerstad. She graduated from high school in Eagle Bend, MN with the class of 1961. Vivian worked as an administrator and in missionary work around the world and she never lost her enthusiasm for the Lord. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Mark Gjerstad and Carol Holt.

She is survived by her husband, Rev. Mervin Scott; children, David Anderson, Heidi Jenson, Dale Anderson, Holly Anderson, and Daniel Anderson and siblings, Kathy Leseman, Steve Gjerstad, Jerry Gjerstad, Roberta Behrmann, Mary Jo Behrmann, and Rita Hull.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. on Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Steve Scott officiating.
