A graveside service for Vicki Lynn Collins, 52, of Carthage, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 21, 2015, at City Cemetery in Carthage with Bro. Ronnie Mutina officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Vicki passed away on Saturday, Oct. 17, 2015, at her home in Carthage.
Vicki Lynn Collins was born on March 7, 1963, in Carthage to Earnest Buell and Juanita Faye Ogelsby Collins. She attended Carthage schools with the class of 1981, and later attended Bish Mathis School of Business where she studied Business Administration. She also attended Panola College where she took cosmetology courses and earned a CNA certificate. She was preceded in death by her father; sister, Coelia Jeanette "Cody" Siler; and a brother-in-law, John Ruso.
She is survived by her mother, Juanita Soape and husband W.D. "Cotton" Soape; long-time partner, Brian Muffler; sisters, Margaret Ruso, Myrita Kruebbe and husband Jimmy, and Kim Davis and husband Daniel; nieces and nephews, Chelsey Lawhorn and husband Clint, Anissa Pride and husband Bryan, Dusin Ruso and wife Gena, Heather Kruebbe, Ryan Kruebbe and wife Nena, Kaylee Davis, and Kellan Davis; special friends, Phil and Mary Ann Kennedy; and two dogs, Josie and Little Bit. Numerous great-nieces and nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends also survive.
Honorary pallbearers are Dustin Ruso, Ryan Kruebbe, Kellan Davis, Clint Lawhorn, and Phil Kennedy.
