Veda Wall, 97, of Spring, TX, formerly of Carthage, TX, went home into the arms of Jesus on Tuesday, Jan. 11, 2022, in Houston, TX. Veda Marie Tosh was born on Oct. 28, 1924, in Batesville, AR to the late Nathan Ross and Effie Ethel Sisk Tosh. She graduated from high school in Batesville with the class of 1944. After later moving to Houston, Veda met and married the love of her life, William Thomas "Bill" Wall on Sept. 11, 1953. He predeceased her on Sept. 7, 1969. She worked for many years as a teacher's aide for Carthage I.S.D. until her retirement. Mrs. Wall was a faithful member of Central Baptist Church in Carthage up until her passing, where she previously served in the homebound ministry. She was also preceded in death by brothers, Donald Ray Tosh, Ransom Tosh, June Tosh, Elbert Tosh, Earl "Bud" Tosh and Carl George Tosh and sisters, Evelyn Rogers, Elsie Maler, and Mary Lee Tosh.

Veda was thoughtful, kind, selfless and most of all, dedicated to her family. She is survived by her son, Richard Thomas "Rick" Wall and wife Donna of The Woodlands; daughter, Susie Roberson and husband Ron of Spring; and grandchildren, Bria Wall Boukovalas and husband Dr. Stefanos Boukovalas of Knoxville, TN, Rhett Roberson, of Houston, and Abby Roberson Dobbs and husband Brandon of Tomball.

Most importantly, Veda walked with the Lord all of the days of her life and loved Him with her whole heart. Her life has been a testimony to her friends and family, and she will be long remembered by all who knew her.

A funeral service celebrating the life of Mrs. Wall will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 15, 2022, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Charles Dodson and Rev. Steve Jackson officiating. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:00-9:45 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Rhett Roberson, Brandon Dobbs, Danny McWilliams, Kurt Wall, Brad Escoe, Ben Roberson, and Mark Roberson.

Honorary pallbearers are Keith Keeling and Travis Wall.

Memorials may be made to Central Baptist Church or Mission Carthage.
