Vaughn L. Deatherage, 51, of Carthage, passed away on Friday night, Feb. 12, 2016, in Carthage. He was born on March 2, 1964, in Los Angeles, California to the late James Robert and Joyce Almarie Dickerson Deatherage. He worked at Tractor Supply in Carthage. Vaughn moved to Carthage in 2007, from Phoenix, AZ.
Survivors include his mother, Joyce Deatherage of Carthage; daughter, Melanie Summers of Pennsylvania; sisters, Dawn Deatherage and wife Eva of Carthage, JeNette Reed and husband Miguel of Carthage, Joi Naranjo and husband Freddy of Sinton, TX, and JanNel Jones and wife Mary of Phoenix; brother, James Gordon Deatherage and wife Angela of Oklahoma; and one grandchild.
