Funeral services for Tynisha LaShay Robinson, age 15 of Carthage, Texas, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 2, 2008 at Pine Grove Baptist Church. Interment will follow in Holland's Quarters Cemetery under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at 7:00 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home. Tynisha passed away on Monday, July 28, 2008 in Carthage.

Tynisha LaShay Robinson was born on September 10, 1992 in Marshall, Texas to Tarus Lamar Hawkins and LaSwanda Shree Robinson. She attended Carthage High School. Tynisha lived all of her life in Carthage and was a member of the Pine Grove Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Fannie Ruth Hawkins and Floyd Gates; maternal great-grandparents, Johnnie and Effie Beck; and one uncle, Cedric Robinson.

Tynisha is survived by her mother, LaSwanda Williams and husband Kenneth; her father, Tarus Hawkins and wife Carlita; one son, Keelan Lamar Robinson; three brothers, Octavious Allison, Keenan Williams, and Colby Hawkins; three sisters, Mia Leary, Keisha Hawkins, and Kemaya Williams; maternal grandparents, Willie and Ruby Robinson; two paternal great-grandmothers, Fannie Mae Bell and Markie Gates; step-grandfather, Jerry Williams; and step-grandmother, Leatrice Gates.
