Graveside services for Mr. Travis Neal Davidson, age 87 of Beckville, Texas will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, October 18, 2007 at Rock Hill Cemetery near Beckville with Dr. J. B. Morris officiating. The family will visit with friends immediately following the graveside service. Mr. Davidson passed away on Monday, October 15, 2007 in Carthage, Texas.

Travis Neal Davidson was born on October 29, 1919 in the Rock Hill Community of Panola County, Texas to Joe Elijah and Carrie Murrie Blunt Davidson. Mr. Davidson graduated from Beckville High School. He married Hazel Jo Ables on August 8, 1955 in Columbus, Mississippi. Mr. Davidson served his country in the United States Army for six years and in the United States Air Force for six years. He worked as a Forman in the Apple Orchards in Yakima, Washington. Mr. Davidson had lived in Beckville since 1999, moving from Yakima, Washington. He was a member of the Rock Hill United Methodist Church.

Mr. Davidson is survived by his wife of 52 years, Hazel Davidson of Beckville and numerous nieces, nephews, and many friends.
