Tony Love, 60, of Deadwood, passed away on Wednesday morning, July 12, 2017, at his home in Deadwood. He was born on Jan. 27, 1957, in Shreveport to Eugene and Helen Irene McCormick Love. He served in the U.S. Army and worked as a roughneck in the oil field industry. Tony moved to Panola County two years ago from Seabrook, TX. He was of the Catholic faith. He was preceded in death by his mother and a brother, Billy Joe Love.

Survivors include his father, Eugene Love of Benton, LA; son, Brian Love and wife Andrea of Chesapeake, VA; sister, Pam Wellborn of Deadwood; brother, Douglas Eugene (Bobby) Love of Georgia; and grandson, Colby Michael Love.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Sunday, July 16, 2017, at 131 PR 848, Carthage, TX (Deadwood Community). Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
