Tonia Jacks, 47, of the Deadwood Community in Panola County, Texas, passed away on Tuesday morning, November 14, 2023, in Carthage, Texas. Tonia Kay Welch was born on June 20, 1976, in Jackson, Mississippi. She married Gregory Wade Jacks on March 23, 2023, in Deadwood. Tonia enjoyed being a mother and a grandmother. She was always willing to help someone in need. Tonia loved her family dearly. She moved to Carthage from Victoria, Texas in 2016. Tonia was preceded in death by her loving dog, Milo.

She is survived by her husband, Greg Jacks; children, Shana Lunceford, Hayley Loveless and spouse Kevin, Tori Weeks, Kayton Jacks, and Jaydon Jacks; grandchildren, Stephen Oliver Lunceford, Holden Eli Pope, Nikolai Cole Pope, Bentlee Weeks, and Joel Weeks; and her beloved dog, Tuffy.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
