Tommy Rex Tomlin, 76, of Buna, Texas, passed away on Sunday evening, May 17, 2020, in Carthage, Texas. He was born on December 10, 1943, in Buna to the late John Robert and Nettie Mae Broadway Tomlin. He attended Buna schools. Tommy married Verda Nell Westbrook on December 9, 1991, in Buna. Mr. Tomlin worked as a pipefitter in the construction business until his retirement. He was of the Assembly of God faith. Tommy was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers; and his sister.

Survivors include his wife, Nell Tomlin of Buna; son, Rex Tomlin of Conway, Arkansas; step-daughters, Jamie Dominey of Pennington, Texas, Melinda Barrett and husband Brad of Bensen, Vermont, and Melissa Cates and husband John of Buna; and brother, Jerry Tomlin of Minden, Louisiana.

Cremation arrangements are by Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
