Tom Hudson, 89, of Lake Murvaul, Panola County, TX, passed away on Saturday afternoon, Feb. 22, 2020, in Carthage, TX. Thomas Neal Hudson was born on Feb. 17, 1931, in Carthage to the late Olen and Elsie Faye Williams Hudson. He attended Gary Schools. Mr. Hudson retired from the pipeline construction business. He had lived his lifetime in Panola County and was a member of Abundant Life Church. Tom loved fishing and hunting. Mr. Hudson was preceded in death by his parents; wives, Bertha Louis Hudson and Janice Hudson; brothers, Robert Earl, Olen Daniel, and Billy Ray Hudson; and sister, Agnes Lucille Beard.

He is survived by brothers, Marion E. "Mutt" Hudson and wife Mickey of Antioch Community, Jacky Hudson of Tatum, John Hudson and wife Dian of Beckville, and Noble Hudson of Beckville and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 25, 2020, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Sister Betty Wills officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park near Carthage. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Chris Hudson, Chris Beard, Johnny Matsoukas, Robbie Hudson, Matthew Hudson, and Phillip Kirkendoll.
