Tim Rinkle, 61, of Metairie, LA, formerly of Carthage, TX, passed away Sunday morning, May 26, 2019, in Kenner, LA. Timothy Neil "Tim" Rinkle was born in Ketchikan, Alaska on Nov. 8, 1957, to the late William Fate "Bill" and Lois Poskey Rinkle. Tim graduated from Carthage High School with the Class of 1976, and earned a Bachelor's Degree of Business Administration majoring in Accounting from the University of Texas at Austin. He was a state certified CPA in both Louisiana and Texas. Tim worked for Roberts, Cherry & Co. CPA's in Shreveport for many years. He later became Chief Financial Officer for Trinity Healthcare and Dr. Taylor in Metairie, LA, where he worked for the past 20 years. He married Gail on Oct. 14, 2017, in Destreham, LA. Tim was of the Catholic faith. He loved baseball, golf, sailing, and fishing.

Survivors include his wife, Gail Rinkle; aunts, Sible Roethke and husband Charles, Irene Goldsbury, Kathleen Risinger and husband Wilson, and JoAnn Schram and husband Robert; and uncle, Steve Poskey and wife Linda.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, May 31, 2019, Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Father Steve Paradis officiating. Entombment will follow at Restland Memorial Park. A Rosary will be recited on Friday beginning at 12 noon at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel followed by a visitation from 1-2 p.m. prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Don Rinkle, Paul Rinkle, Tommy Rinkle, Stephen Luman, Glen Luman and James Turner.

Honorary pallbearer is Dr. Royce Hill.
