Funeral services for Mr. Thomas Gordon Hickey , age 50, of Carthage, TX will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 3, 2009 at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Bob Scott officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park in Carthage. The family will receive friends on Thursday, July 2, 2009 from 6:00–8:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Mr. Hickey passed away on Tuesday morning, June 30, 2009 in Shreveport, LA.

Thomas Gordon Hickey was born on July 29, 1958, in Jefferson City, TN to Lawrence Gordon Hickey of Jefferson County, TN and Thelma Sue Blair of Knox Co. TN. Mr. Hickey graduated from Carter High School in Knox County, TN. He loved riding motorcycles, working outdoors and eating. He was preceded in death by his grandparents; his dad; his daughter, Lekisha Danyale Hickey; and his sister, Jeane Hickey.

Mr. Hickey is survived by his mother, Sue Blair Hickey Webb of Knoxville, TN; his fiance, Cindy Faircloth of Carthage; one son, Thomas Ray Hickey of Strawberry Plains, TN; one brother, Gerald Hickey and wife Sheila also of Strawberry Plains, TN; and a granddaughter, Danyale Nichols of Jefferson City, TN.

Serving as pallbearers are David Daniel, Cody Scoggins, Glenn Choate, Henry Adams, Robert Davidson, and Tony Sherman. Honorary pallbearers are Brandon Faircloth, Jim Watts, Gary Jagers, and Kerry Adams.
