Thomas Lynn Davis, II, 60, of Carthage, passed away on Thursday night, Nov. 2, 2017, in Tyler. He was born on Nov. 7, 1956, in Gary, Indiana to the late Lyndon Jay and Louise Harriet Schleizer Davis. He graduated from Northshore Senior High School in Houston with the class of 1974. Mr. Davis worked at the Houston Chronicle as a printer in the newspaper business for many years and later in the heating and air conditioning business until his retirement. He loved hunting and fishing. Mr. Davis moved to Carthage in 1997, from Houston. He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, J.D. Davis.

Survivors include his brother, Mark Davis and wife Carla of Carthage; sister-in-law, Sharon Davis of Lodi, CA; special friends, Glenda Rogers and Kay Latner both of Longview; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
