Services for Mr. Theodore Frank Chadwick, age 78, of Longview, TX formerly of Carthage, TX, will be held at 10 a.m. on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Deacon Larry Bate officiating. Interment will follow in Bethlehem Cemetery in the Snap Community of Panola County. The family will receive friends for a visitation at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel from 5-7 p.m. Sunday with a rosary to be recited at 7 p.m. Mr. Chadwick passed away on Thursday morning, Jan. 24, 2013, in Longview.
Theodore Frank Chadwick was born on Jan. 19, 1935, in Long Branch, Panola County, TX to the late William Jasper Chadwick, Jr. and Mildred Prycer Chadwick. He graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1953. He attended Texarkana Jr. College and Kilgore College. Mr. Chadwick was a golden gloves boxer in his earlier years. He was also a member of Local #671 Plumbers and Pipefitters Union out of Monroe, MI, since 1970. Mr. Chadwick enjoyed working in the yard, attending any sporting event, and adored his grandchildren. He moved to Longview in 2005, from Carthage. Mr. Chadwick was a member of the St. William of Vercelli Catholic Church where he was a member of the Knights of Columbus. He was preceded in death by four brothers, James Andrew and William Haggard Roquemore and Eubert and Jessie Chadwick and one sister, Minnie Frances Taylor.
Mr. Chadwick is survived by one son, Frank Chadwick and wife Kristi of Longview; one sister, Ramona Orr and husband Stan of Beaumont; ex-wife, Sarah Chadwick of Longview; and three grandchildren, Christopher Frank Chadwick, Chelsea Karolann Chadwick, and Carly Breann Chadwick.
Serving as pallbearers will be the Knights of Columbus.
