Ted Seegers, 81, of Tatum, TX, passed away on Saturday morning, May 25, 2019, in Denton, TX. Theodore Alfred "Ted" Seegers was born on Sept. 18, 1937, in Kilgore, TX to the late Buck and Dora Lee Fitzgerald Seegers. He graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1957. He married Nancy Hull and they were married 34 years until she preceded him in death in 2001. Ted worked in the oil field services industry until his retirement. He enjoyed traveling to the mountains with Nancy, carpentry, hunting, and gardening.

In addition to his parents and wife, he was also preceded in death by his brother, Bertis Seegers; sister, Martha Howard; and two grandsons, Brandon Christopher Guill and James Eric Seegers.

Survivors include his sons, Glenn Seegers and wife Elizabeth and James Seegers and wife Tammy; daughter, Jena Sigert and husband Jubal; grandchildren, Madeline, Nathan, and Natalie Seegers, Brent Seegers and wife Brandi, and Ashley Allen and husband Nathan; great-grandchildren, Jesse Sipes, Riley Seegers, Bailey, Baker, and Boston Seegers, and Bryson Guill; sisters, Dot Barton and Mary Lou Gray; sister-in-law, Sally Seegers; numerous nieces and nephews, and many friends.

Per Ted's wishes, there will be no formal funeral service, however, a celebration of life visitation where family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, 2019, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
