A funeral service for Susan Brazeal, 53, of Tatum, will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015, at First Baptist Church in Tatum with Bro. Trey Roberson officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Tatum Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-8 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Susan passed away on Sunday night, Dec. 20, 2015, in Longview.

Susan Annette Williamson Brazeal was born on Aug. 20, 1962, in Carthage to Odis Larry and Ruby Eugenia Russ Williamson. She graduated from Tatum High School with the class of 1981, and attended Kilgore College and Tyler Junior College. She married Carl Frank Brazeal on March 7, 1981, in Tatum. Susan worked for Blue Cross Blue Shield as a Customer Advocate for many years. She was involved in the FFA and Alumni Associations at Tatum I.S.D. for many years. Susan enjoyed crafts including scrap booking, painting, and woodworking. She was preceded in death by her father, Odis Larry Williamson and her son, Tony Brazeal.

Susan is survived by her husband, Frank Brazeal of Tatum; her mother, Ruby Simpson of Tatum; daughter, Carol Pasche and husband Darin of Alexandria, LA; brother, Jim Williamson and wife Deana of Ore City; sisters, Tammy Guy and husband Lamar of Colfax, LA, Kelli Luna and husband Martin of Tatum, and Bobbye Pugliese and husband Adam of Gladewater; grandchildren, Tyler, Austin, and Carley; mother-in-law, Dorothy Brazeal of Tatum; sister-in-law, Vickie McGraw and husband Don of Tatum; and brother-in-law, Marvin Brazeal and wife Mickey of Tatum. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive Susan.

Pallbearers are Darin Pasche, David Luna, Marvin Brazeal, Evan Brazeal, Dylan Brazeal, Don McGraw, and Martin Luna.

Honorary pallbearers will be Jim Williamson, Tyler Pasche, Austin Pasche, Eric Luna, Ryan Luna, Sam Pugliese, Tim Pugliese, Adam Pugliese, and Dewayne Acker.
