Stephen Cai Harris, 63, of Montgomery, TX, passed away on Wednesday morning, Jan. 3, 2018. He was born on Oct. 19, 1954, in Dallas to Joe Parker Harris and Reba Nell Burns Harris. He graduated from Justin F. Kimball High School in Dallas with the class of 1973. He married Karen Sue Templin in December of 1983, in Dallas. He worked as a truck driver. Steve was preceded in death by his father.

Survivors include his mother, Reba Harris of Fairplay; wife, Karen Harris of Montgomery; daughter, Kyanne Todd Bennett and husband Kyle of Carrollton; son, Joshua Cai Harris of Montgomery; step-son, Sean Leslie Phillip O'Grady and wife Peggy Jo of Bastrop; sister, Joanna Bounds and husband Greg of Henderson; brother, Thomas Harris and wife Kathleen of Longview; granddaughter, Lexi Todd; step-granddaughter, Ava Lynn O'Grady; nieces and nephews, Amy Bounds, Christopher Bounds and wife Lindsay, and Katherine and Ben Weindorff; and great-nephew and great-niece, Gideon and Jane Bounds.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 13, 2018, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Bill Kuykendall officiating. Interment will follow in Harris Cemetery in Fairplay. The family will receive friends from 9-10 a.m. on Saturday at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Christopher Bounds, Greg Bounds, Thomas Harris, Bailey Jones, Dwain Burns and Justin Jones.
