Stephanie Rich Bishop, 49, of the Deadwood Community, passed away on Wednesday, March 15, 2017, in Alamosa, CO. She was born on Dec. 11, 1967, in Shreveport to E.B. and Christine Cordray Rich. Stephanie graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1985, and earned her cosmetology degree from Panola College. She worked and later purchased Wynette's and more recently worked at Signatures. Stephanie married Edward Bishop on May 25, 1991, at the Shiloh Baptist Church in Keatchie, LA. She lived her lifetime in Panola County and was a member of Deadwood United Methodist Church. Her father preceded her in death.

Survivors include her husband Ed Bishop of Deadwood; daughter, Priscilla Bishop of Rockwall; mother, Christine Cordray Birmingham of Carthage; grandmother, Joy Cordray of Bethany; brother, Blanton Rich and wife Heather of Carthage; and sister, Angela Dickson and husband Rusty of Shreveport. Numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, cousins, other relatives and many friends also survive.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2017, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Wade Floyd officiating. Interment will follow in Centennial Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. on Sunday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Matt Bagley, Timmy Chhor, Samuel Chhor, Anthony Chhor, Dylan Hunt, and Stephen Alexander.
