Graveside services for Ms. Stella Ann Poss, age 70, of Carthage, TX, will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, at Antioch Cemetery in Panola County, TX with Dr. Allen Tilley officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 5-7 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Ms. Poss passed away on Saturday morning, Oct. 22, 2011, in Carthage.

Stella Ann Poss was born on Apr. 28, 1941, in Carthage, TX to Jewel and Maina Francis Moore Poss. She had lived most of her lifetime in Panola County and was a member of the First Baptist Church of Carthage. Stella was preceded in death by her parents.

Ms. Poss is survived by her sister, Jerrie Poss Davis and husband Larry D. Davis of Carthage; one niece, Kellie Davis Peterson and husband Tres of Carthage; one great-niece, Brooke Peterson; and two great-nephews, Blake Peterson and Brandon Gibson all of Carthage.

Serving as pallbearers are Brandon Gibson, Jerry Hudson, Bill Peace, Jason Peace, Tracey Peace, Tres Peterson, and Mike Bowers.
