Mrs. Stasia F. Hutton, age 89 of Carthage, Texas formerly of Shreveport, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday morning, July 12, 2007 in Carthage. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mrs. Hutton's cremated remains will be inurned at Restland Memorial Park Mausoleum near Carthage.

Stasia Frances Janeczek Hutton was born on March 10, 1918 in Cohoes, New York to John and Frances Ciepel Janeczek. For twenty years, Mrs. Hutton worked as a product inspector for Behr Manning Company, a tape manufacturer. She loved babysitting all children and she was any and every child's favorite grandmother. Mrs. Hutton had lived in Carthage since 2003 moving from Shreveport. She was of the Catholic faith.

Mrs. Hutton is survived by two daughters, Judith Harris and husband Buddy of Carthage, Texas and Gwen Walko of Phoenix, Arizona; three grandchildren Anissa Konieczny of Roseville, California, Tiffany Sellig of Wayne, Pensylvania, and Lassiter Mason III of Tampa, Florida; and seven great-grandchildren, Daniel, Mason, Courtney, Kendall, Lindsey, Isabel, and Lily.

The family would like to express their sincere appreciation to the staff of Winkler House and Panola Care and Rehab for the fine care given to Mrs. Hutton over the past years.
