Shirley Ann Tatum, 60, of Tatum, TX, passed away on Tuesday night, Nov. 9, 2021, at her home in Tatum. She was born on July 16, 1961, in Carthage, TX to the late Billie Ray and Rosa Lee Carmack Tatum. Shirley attended school in Tatum where she graduated with the Tatum High School class of 1979. She was retired from property management after 20 plus years among a few other later occupations. Shirley was of the Baptist faith. When she wasn't devoting her time to her beloved grandchildren, Shirley enjoyed drinking her coffee. She had a giving heart and often helped others no matter the circumstances.

Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and brothers, David Wayne Tatum and Daniel Lee Tatum.

She is survived by her daughter, CeCelia Cunningham and husband Christopher of Tatum; brothers, Bobby Tatum and wife Elizabeth of Tatum and Billy Tatum and wife Pat of Oak Hill; and grandchildren, Adrian Alan Cunningham and Elijah Paul Cunningham. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Nov. 16, 2021, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dwain Smith officiating. The family will receive friends from 6-8 on Monday at the funeral home.
