Serena Esquivel, 49, of Carthage, Texas, passed away on Friday morning, May 16, 2025, in Carthage. She was born on October 1, 1975, in Idaho. Cremation arrangements are by Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.

She earned a business degree and worked as a legal assistant for many years. Her hobbies included calligraphy, contributing to her community,  and actively supporting her church family.

Serena managed her large family, two attorneys, a multi-county case load, and thousands of clients. She was a respected and valued member of the East Texas legal community.

She will be remembered as a compassionate woman, loyal friend, loving mother and devoted spouse.

She is survived by her husband, Felix Esquivel, and her six children: Jayden Hollis, Dezirae Hollis, Bella Prado, Alex Prado, Ryan Esquivel, and Serenity Esquivel.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate her life at Freedom Place Church at 4576 State Highway 149, Beckville, TX 75631 on Saturday, May 24, 2025, at 10:00 A.M.
