Obituary
A celebration of life will be held for Selden L. Cohen, 53, will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 at Rose-Neath's Southside Chapel, 2500 Southside Drive, Reverend Bob Moore will be officiating. Interment with military honors will follow at Youngblood Cemetery in Beckville, TX. Visitation with the family will be held on Tuesday, December 8, 2015 from 9:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home. Local arrangements are by Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
Selden was born on September 19, 1962 in Longview, TX to Eppner Louis and Hulene Jenkins Cohen. He passed away on December 3, 2015 in Shreveport, LA. He was preceded in death by his father.
He is survived by his mother, Hulene Cohen, daughter, Olivia Cohen, brother, Pete and wife Shelley Cohen, sister, Mary and husband Levy Brack, aunt, Ouida Pope, nephews, Pete Matsko and Caleb Brack, and niece, Megan Brack.
Honoring him as pallbearers will be Rusty Goodman, Randy Goodman, Rodney Davis, David Richard, and Paul Ramsey.
