Funeral services for Mr. Scott Michael Pazik, age 55, of Clayton, TX, will be held at 2 p.m. on Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Kim Hagedorn and Mr. Bob Cannon officiating. Interment will follow in Youngblood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Pazik passed away on Friday morning, Jan. 27, 2012, at his home in Clayton.
Scott Michael Pazik was born on May 1, 1956, in St. Paul, Minnesota to Donald Reining and Charlotte May Anderson Pazik. He attended grade school in Iona, MN, elementary school in Worthington, MN, and the Springhill High School in Springhill, MN. Mr. Pazik served his country in the United States Navy from 1975-1979, at which time he was honorably discharged. He married Diane Marie Trolinger on Aug. 18, 1983, in the Grand Bluff Community of Panola County, TX. Mr. Pazik owned and operated Highway 59 Wrecker and Transport and Scott's Mechanic Service in Marshall. He was a member of the Towing and Recovery Assn. of America, the Texas Towing & Storage Assn. where he served on the board and as a trainer, and was a licensed trainer for the International Institute of Towing & Recovery. Mr. Pazik loved horses and was a member of the American Quarter Horse Assn.
Mr. Pazik is survived by his loving wife of 30 years, Diane Pazik of Clayton, TX; his father, Donald Reining of Northfield, MN; his mother, Charlotte Pazik of Mankato, MN; one son, Chris White and wife Jennifer of Gladewater, TX; three daughters, Monica Searcy and husband Jeff of Beckville, TX, Kimberly McGuire and husband Kevin of Beckville, TX and Shelly Pazik of Marshall, TX; three sisters, Lynn Beadel and husband Don of Mankato, MN and Donna and Heather Reining of Northfield, MN; and eight grandchildren, Blair, Montana, and Colton Searcy, Cheyenne and Trenten McGuire, Brycen Napier, Lil Colton White, and Baylor Pazik.
Serving as pallbearers are Jeff Searcy, Colton Searcy, Cory Thompson, Kevin McGuire, Chris White, Bubba Oney, Brycen Napier, Trenten McGuire, Lil Colton White, and Baylor Pazik.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Clifford Cole, Sandy Snelgrove, and J.R. Morgan.
