Services for Mrs. Sarah Marshall Boulware Corbin, age 87, of Dallas, will be held at 1:00 p.m. Monday, May 12, 2014 at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home with Dr. William Everett officiating. Interment will follow at Langley Cemetery. Mrs. Corbin passed away May 7, 2014, in Dallas.

Born in Beckville on Oct. 16, 1926 to the late Andrew and Hennie Dee Boulware, Mrs. Corbin's great-grandparents were early settlers of the Grand Bluff and Beckville area. She graduated from Beckville High School and attended Sam Houston State University and Stephen F. Austin. She married L.A. Corbin of Rusk in March of 1948 and resided in Dallas since 1959.

Mrs. Corbin is survived by two sons, Lee Corbin and David Corbin of Dallas; cousins include, Pamela Bobbitt-Pierson, Martha Goodin, Mary Fowler, Keith Grimes, and the Sterrett families of Jefferson and Longview. She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Richard Corbin; sister, Hazle Wakefield and aunt, Esther Marshall, both of Beckville; and cousin, Joseph T. Bobbitt. Long time superintendent of the Beckville school district, R.C. Beauchamp, was also a first cousin.
