Funeral services for Mrs. Sarah Lee Brooks, 77 of DeBerry, Texas will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday December 6, 2007 at Jimerson – Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel . Interment will follow at Shady Grove Cemetery, Harrison County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 to 7:00 P.M. Wednesday evening at the funeral home.

Sarah Lee Brooks was born Sept 3, 1930 in DeBerry, Texas to Tommie and Dora Bell Rollison Mason. She was a lifetime resident of DeBerry and enjoyed quilting and gardening. Mrs. Brooks was of the Methodist faith and a member of Mims Chapel CME.
Mrs. Brooks was preceded in death by husband, Calvin R. Brooks in 2000, brothers, Tommie Mason Jr., and Leroy Mason Sr.

Mrs. Brooks is survived by sons, James H. Brooks and wife Gloria, DeBerry, Texas, Kenneth C. Brooks and wife Betty, Carthage, Texas, Jimmy R. Brooks and wife Mildred, DeBerry, Texas, John L. Brooks and wife Diane, DeBerry, Texas, daughters, Calvin Jean Amy, DeBerry, Texas, Shirley A. Brooks, DeBerry, Texas, Linda C. Brooks, DeBerry, Texas, 14 grandchildren, 19 great grandchildren, special grandchild, Elayne Grogan, uncle, Claudie Rollison, DeBerry, Texas, aunts, Amber Gould, Palm Springs, California, Rosie Lee Mullins, Lubbock, Texas, sister in laws, brother in laws, and numerous other cousins, nieces, nephews.
Mrs. Brooks passed away Sunday, December 2, 2007 in Carthage.
