Sandra Sadler, 75, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Saturday afternoon, July 3, 2021, in Tyler, TX. Sandra Nell Monroe was born on Dec. 5, 1945, in Henderson, TX to the late Uriah Nelson and Abbie Lou Fyke Monroe. She graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1964. Sandra married Roger Dewayne Sadler on May 9, 1964, at Southside Baptist Church in Carthage where she was a longtime member. Roger preceded her in death on Oct. 31, 2011. Sandra worked for many years at Carthage Locker Plant and later owned and operated Sadler Chevron in Carthage. Sandra retired from NAPA in Carthage after many years of service. She enjoyed life to the fullest and especially enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren. Sandra was preceded in death by a daughter-in-law, Lesley Sadler.

She is survived by her children, Farrell Sadler, Debra Anderson and husband Joey, and Steven Sadler and wife Lacy all of Carthage; brother, Nelson Monroe and wife Georgia of Carthage; grandchildren, Casey Price and husband Brad, Sarah Anderson, Sam Anderson and wife Shelby, Kendall Sadler, and Kelsey Sadler; great-grandchildren, Alayna Brooke and Sadie Jo Price and Lucas Kelly and Brooks Michael Anderson; sister-in-law, Mellie Saddler; and dear special friends, Donna and Ron Westbrook. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, July 7, 2021, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Thomas Monroe officiating. Interment will follow in Rehobeth Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1-2 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home prior to the funeral service.

Pallbearers are Brian Monroe, Karl Oney, Brandon Monroe, Robert Monroe, Joey French, and Carl Hofmeister. Honorary pallbearers are Albert Boren and Billy Sheppard.

The family would like to thank UT Health Tyler ICU Unit 2WB for the loving care provided to Mrs. Sadler during her illness.
