Sandra Pierce Bains, 68, of Carthage, TX, passed away on Monday afternoon, Nov. 2, 2020, at her home in Carthage. Sandra Jo Pierce was born on Nov. 11, 1951, in Carthage to the late Hubert and Fannie Elizabeth Hightower Pierce. She graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1970. She worked at First National Bank in Carthage for many years and later for Danny Buck Davidson Law Office. Sandra was of the Baptist faith and was a member of First Baptist Church where she was a member of the Jubilee Sunday School class. She loved helping others in any way she could. Sandra loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Richard Lenice Bains; and brother, James Russell "J.R." Pierce.

Sandra is survived by her children, Ashlee Alexander and husband Billy and Trenton Allison and wife Dana all of Carthage; sister, Peggy Anderson and husband Jerry of Carthage; and grandchildren, Hunter and Conner Alexander and Cadee Spry. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives and many friends also survive.

A funeral service will be held 10 a.m. on Friday, Nov. 6, 2020, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Allen Tilley officiating. Interment will follow in Friendship Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are David Gray, Hunter Gray, Kenneth Stephens, Louis Powell, Dean Jeffress, Rodney Weaver, Matthew Ham, and Parker Moseley.
