Sammy Lynn McMillian, Jr., "Dinky", 41, of Beckville, TX, passed away on Wednesday afternoon, March 9, 2022, in Tyler, TX. He was born on Nov. 17, 1980, in Marshall, TX to Sammy Lynn, Sr. and Beverly Kaye Hicks McMillian. Dinky graduated from Beckville High School with the class of 2000. He worked in the oil field. Dinky was preceded in death by his mother, Beverly Kaye Hicks McMillian and grandparents, Willie Kay and Lennie Joe Moore Hicks, Sam Parker, and Mercedes McMillian.

He is survived by his father, Sammy McMillian, Sr.; children, Daziya and Jakevious McMillian; sisters, Ashley and JoLesa McMillian; niece, Ja'Niya Taylor; and nephew, Delrick Taylor, Jr. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, other relatives, and many friends also survive.

A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 19, 2022, at Bethel Cemetery near Beckville under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. A viewing will be held from 2-6 p.m. on Friday at the funeral home.
