Ryan Alexander Medlin, age 50, of Aransas Pass, Texas, formerly of Carthage, passed away on Sunday night, April 27, 2025, at a hospital in Corpus Christi. He was born on February 15, 1975, in Garland, Texas, to Gary Randall Medlin and Barbara Jean Evans Medlin.

Ryan graduated from Carthage High School with the Class of 1993. He went on to build a successful career in the demolition industry, serving as an operations manager on major projects across Houston, Corpus Christi, and San Antonio. He was proud to be one of only three certified demolition supervisors in the San Antonio area, a reflection of his hard work, expertise, and leadership.

Outside of work, Ryan was a lifelong Dallas Cowboys fan and had a deep love for music and riding his motorcycle. Whether it was hitting the road on his bike, blasting classic rock, or singing along to his favorite songs, those passions brought him peace, joy, and freedom.

He is survived by his mother, Barbara Whitehurst; father, Randy Medlin and wife Jean; sons, Randall and Reece Medlin; brother, Chris Medlin and wife Karen; and nephews, Colin and Blake Medlin.

A visitation will be held from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday, May 10, 2025, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
