Ryan Mathew Fleming, 48, of Tatum, TX, passed away on Saturday night, Aug. 18, 2018, in Longview, TX. He was born on May 4, 1970, in Atlanta, GA to the late Forest Victor Fleming, Jr. and Anna Lee Bristley Fleming. He graduated from Peachtree High School in Dunwoody, GA with the class of 1988. He began working at Doraville, GA Police Dept. were he held various ranks during his tenure there. He later owned Blue Line Services, a grading company in Gainesville, GA, for many years. Ryan moved to McAlester, OK, where he worked at Ondalay Pipe and rental. In 2007, he moved to Tatum, working with Goodrich Petroleum and more recently was employed as a construction manager for Kinder Morgan. He married Kristin Michelle Hamburg on July 26, 1993, in Ringgold, GA. Ryan loved football, especially the Georgia Bulldogs and the Tatum Eagles. He was of the Baptist faith.

Survivors include his wife, Kristin of Tatum; 3 sons, Tyler Fleming and wife Mayra and Brayden and Jayse Fleming all of Tatum; 3 daughters, Kaylee Fleming of Hawkins and Ansley and Avery Fleming of Tatum; 3 brothers, Tex Fleming and wife Marilyn of Florida, Mike Fleming and wife Lenore of Georgia, and Steve Fleming of California; 4 sisters, Kathy Shealy of Georgia, Karen Divine of Colorado, Sue Bruder and husband Dave of Georgia, and Jane Fleming and husband Bruce of South Carolina; and 2 grandchildren, Eli and Andersyn. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends also survive.

The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m. on Thursday at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. on Friday, Aug. 24, 2018, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Dale Reed officiating. Interment will follow in Tatum Cemetery.

Pallbearers are Randy Hicks, Billy Beall, Terry George, Seth Sellers, Tyler Humble, Weston Phillips, Kelly Cantrell, and Sam Staal.
