Obituary
A funeral service for Ryan David Cantrell, age 21, of Carthage, TX, will be held at 10 a.m. on Friday, July 26, 2013, at Central Baptist Church in Carthage with Rev. Larry Talbert and Rev. Steve Jackson officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Odd Fellows Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. Ryan passed away on Monday, July 22, 2013, in Carthage.
Ryan David Cantrell was born on Feb. 5, 1992, in Corsicana, TX. The son of Jonathon C. and Kristi Jo Moore Williamson graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 2010, where he lettered in basketball all four years. He then attended Panola College. Ryan loved playing basketball, being with his friends, and anything to do with cars and motors. He moved to Carthage in 2004, from Arlington and was a member of the Central Baptist Church in Carthage where he was involved in the MERGE program during his youth. He was preceded in death by his grandmothers, Elaine Cribbs and Loretta Parish and his great-grandparents, George and Sallie Moore and Cecil Lovett.
Ryan is survived by his parents, Jon and Kristi Williamson of Carthage; five siblings, Samantha, Jonathon, Matthew, and Hope Williamson all of Carthage and Colton Cantrell of Corsicana; grandparents, Frances and Sammy Moore of Carthage and Jerry and Yvonne Williamson of Corsicana; great-grandmothers, Lola Lovett of Carthage and Lillian Bewley of Corsicana; and aunts and uncles, Jodi and Randy Bratcher of Odessa, Jeff and Carrie Woychesin of Aledo, Andra Williamson of Corsicana, Shanna and Ricky Puentes of Corsicana, and Jenny Hurst of Jasper, IN. Numerous other relatives and many friends also survive Ryan.
Serving as pallbearers are Bryce Bickham, Tyler Sparks, Cody Bowley, Kelton Finley, Jeffrey Nations, and Felipe Contreras.
Serving as honorary pallbearers are Jonathon A. Williamson, Matthew Williamson, John Egan McCartney, and Logan Warrington.
