A graveside service for Mrs. Ruth E. Phillips, 90, of McKinney, TX, will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Langley Cemetery in Beckville, TX. A visitation will be held on Sunday, November 9, 2014 from 4-6 p.m. at Mulkey-Mason Funeral Home, 705 N. Locust, Denton. Mrs. Phillips passed away on Wednesday, November 5, 2014 at her sister's home in Krum. Local arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.

Ruth E. Phillips was born December 4, 1923 in Beckville, TX to Bert L. and Phoebie (Langley) Emerson. She was a member of the Baptist church and was retired. She was high school graduate and attended business college. She was retired from Collins Radio and Rockwell International after thirty-five years.

Mrs. Phillips is survived by a son, Jason Phillips and his wife Belinda of McKinney; sister, Pat Mankin and her husband Troy of Krum; brother, Bert Emerson and his wife Linn of Alba; and grandchildren, Riggin Phillips, Garrett Ferguson, Josh Ferguson, Blake Ferguson, and Eric Phillips.
