Ruth Elizabeth Bell, 96, peacefully went to be with her Lord on October 21, 2015. Graveside services celebrating her life will be held at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday, October 24, 2015 at Forest Park West in Shreveport. Officiating will be Brother Bob Moore. Visitation will be held at Rose-Neath Funeral Home, 2500 Southside Drive, Shreveport, LA from 12:00 p.m. until 1:00 p.m. prior to the service. Local arrangments are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.

Ruth was born on January 21, 1919 in Pittsburg, TX to W.T. and Eva Brogdon Drew. She and her husband, Hubert, were long time members of Willow Point Baptist Church in Shreveport. Preceding her in death were her parents; husband of 58 years, Hubert P. Bell; and three brothers. Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Ron Bell and wife, Peggy, and Rodney Bell and wife, Margie; daughter, Renee Bell; grandchildren, Ronnie Bell, Leslie Evans and husband, Reagan, April Bell Roberts, and Stephanie Gary and husband, Jack; 7 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family.
