Obituary
Russell Fredrick Speers, 78, of DeBerry, TX, passed away on Monday night, Nov. 14, 2016, in Carthage. He was born on Feb. 9, 1938, in White Owl, SD to Glen Elmer and Edna Marie Harris Speers. Mr. Speers worked in quality control for General Motors, retiring after 35 years. He was preceded in death by his father and a brother, Glen Speers.
Mr. Speers is survived by his mother, Edna Speers of Puyallup, Wash.; brothers, Bert Speers of Puyallup, Lowell Speers of White Owl, S.D. Stanley Speers of Toledo, Wash., and Patrick Speers of Patterson, MO.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home.
