Graveside services for Mrs. Ruby Lee Pelham, age 91, of Longview, TX formerly of the Harris Chapel Community of Panola County, TX, will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, March 5, 2010, at Harris Chapel Cemetery with Bro. Charles French officiating under the direction of Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home. Mrs. Pelham passed away on Wednesday afternoon, March 3, 2010, in Longview.

Ruby Lee Patty Pelham was born on Feb. 8, 1919, in Panola County, TX, to Lee and Lennie Brazzical Patty. She married J. W. Pelham on July 20, 1944, in Aniston, AL and he preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1993. Mrs. Pelham lived in Longview since 1989, moving there from the Harris Chapel Community. She was a Baptist. Mrs. Pelham was also preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Mattie Davidson and Faye Byrd.

Mrs. Pelham is survived by her son, Marvin Pelham and wife Pat of Tatum; two sisters, Bonnie Hansen of Longview and Juanita Atkerson of the Rock Hill Community; and two granddaughters, Amy and Jill Pelham both of Tatum.
