Roxanne Bostick, 65 of Center, Texas formerly of Carthage, Texas, passed away on Monday morning, April 15, 2024, at M.D. Anderson Hospital in Houston, Texas. Roxanne Studdard was born on May 15, 1958, in Carthage to the late Pat Henry and Alonzola Covington Studdard. She graduated from Carthage High School with the class of 1976. Roxie earned a bachelor's degree in criminology from Sam Houston State University where she was a member of the Chi Omega Sorority and was a little sister with the Lambda Chi Fraternity. She married Robert Michael Bostick on June 23, 2006, in Carthage. Roxie loved gardening, cooking, and spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She loved her family dearly. She began her working career as a probation officer and later became a teacher. Roxie more recently served as a social worker. She moved to Center in 2020, from Carthage and was a member of the Church of Christ in Center.

She is survived by her husband Robert Mike Bostick; children, Trevor Tate and wife Casey, Ethan Tate and wife Kaitlin, Lucas Tate and wife Rosie, and Jared Bostick and wife Natalie; sister, Suzi Hogan and husband Tim; foster sister, Missy Reeves and husband Phil; grandchildren, Mason, Ava, Hannah, Aliya, Everly, and Eli Tate, Alexandra Smith, and Ezra and Eliza Bostick; and special cousins, Cyndi Bell and David, Steve, and Phillip Stewart.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, 2024, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. Tim Perkins officiating. Interment will follow in Restland Memorial Park near Carthage. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at the funeral home.

Pallbearers are Trevor Tate, Ethan Tate, Lucas Tate, Jared Bostick, Tim Hogan, and Phil Reeves.
