Funeral services for Mrs. Rose Baldwin, age 88, of Shepherd, TX, formerly of the Old Center Community in Panola County, TX, will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010, at Jimerson-Lipsey Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jeff Borgwardt officiating. Interment will follow in Woods Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m. on Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Baldwin passed away on Saturday morning, Dec. 18, 2010, in Pasadena.

Rosina Elizabeth Walz Baldwin was born on June 17, 1922, in Brooklyn, NY, to William E. and Anna Blacky Walz. She married Clarence Oswell (C.O.) Baldwin, Jr. on Sept. 30, 1951, in New York, NY and he preceded her in death on Nov. 12, 1992. Mrs. Baldwin volunteered in the community for many years. She was a member of the Good Shepherd Lutheran Church in Marshall. Mrs. Baldwin moved to the Houston area in 1998, to be closer to her family. She was also preceded in death by her parents.

Mrs. Baldwin is survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and many friends. She will be dearly missed.
